8558 Borrower Services

  1. Negotiating the modification or discounted payoff (“DPO”) of defaulted Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (“CMBS”) and bank loans
  2. Establishing JV’s with borrower clients and capital providers and sourcing equity and/or debt financing to facilitate the modification or DPO transaction for borrower clients
  3. Special experience in representing Tenant In Common (TIC) borrowing groups and extensive experience in negotiating settlements of TIC loans in the CMBS Special Servicing industry.
  4. Providing thorough, fair and credible underwriting services to support loan settlement strategies.  The firm’s product is relied upon extensively by the lender’s analysts.

8558 Lender Services

  1. Negotiating the purchase of defaulted loans from the lender, loan servicer or CMBS Controlling Class Representative.
  2. Special focus on acquiring tenant in common borrower structured loans from the loan servicers
  3. Analyzing lender portfolios and recommending and structuring workout strategies.

Underwriting and Due Diligence

  1. Underwrite loans and properties, including preparing an “opportunity” summary and business plan for potential loan buyers, equity partners and debt lenders
  2. Lead and coordinate the due diligence for loan or properties being acquired

Borrower Recapitalizations

  1. Assist Borrower in sourcing funds necessary for a proper recapitalization
  2. Construct new investment structure
  3. Assist in execution

Loan Purchasing

  1. Source the equity and debt for each transaction and create the investment structure
  2. Lead and coordinate the loan closing
